Knoxville -- Tennessee was ready to forfeit to No. 3 LSU if Saturday night's game in Baton Rouge had not been rescheduled for Monday night because of Hurricane Rita.
Tennessee athletic director Mike Hamilton said Friday the No. 10 Volunteers were prepared to take such action "if we felt like it would be unfair to our student-athletes and not safe for our student-athletes."
Southeastern Conference commissioner Mike Slive said Thursday the game would be moved for safety reasons. LSU officials preferred to have the game Saturday or Sunday.

How would the BCS' precious computer account for that.
The reality is Tennessee and LSU are likely to meet in the SEC championship game at the end of the season anyway.
Yet another problem in the idotic BCS computer. Beating the same strong team twice is very, very difficult. But you beat them once, they fall in the polls. You face them again, and they are not considered a strong team by the computer.
I guess you can see I don't like the BCS.

Monday night should be interesting for a football game in Baton Rouge as the storm is going to stall in the ArkLaTex area through Monday.

I'm a nice guy..(g).and besides..I didn't have to root for the Vols against Florida..but he did..
