Not a good time if you are either Sox team, White or Red.

No way. With allstars at every position they should be well over 100 wins by now. I know, pitching. Well I can only hope for baseball they fail to make the playoffs. We really need an NFL type salary cap in baseball. Until that happens NY, Boston and a few others will be in every year.
I hate the Yankees BUT I appreciate your service to our Country.

September 22, 2005 at 6:20am ET The Red Sox lost their stranglehold on first place in the AL East Wednesday, when they lost 7-4 to the Devil Rays in St. Petersburg, FL and fell a half-game behind the surging Yankees, who beat the Orioles 2-1, and a game behind the Indians, who whipped the stumbling White Sox 8-0, in the wild card race.

Since we'er talking Red Sox, I have a question for all
you experts. Ted Williams hit a home run at his last
at bat at his last game.. I wonder how many others have duplicated that fact.

I seem to recall alot of people laughing at the Yankees early this season. Afterall, they were at the bottom of the standings on the level with the Devilrays.
Oh how things can change. : )
Its seems like yesterday the Oriole fans were clammering that this was their year..... And where are they now?
Go Yankees !!!

Curse of the French presidential candidate.
It is all John Kerry's fault!

Now that's the RedSox I knew and loved-hated all those years. Bucky Dent!!! "I can't believe Grady left Pedro in" Jim Ed Rice = HDP at the end, Dick Radatz as the closer, Tony C, Yaz, Freddie Lynn, old Stone Fingers, the Spaceman, Luis Tiant, Carleton Fisk, yada, yada, yada

It does seem like a remarkable feat. My SWAG would be
Twenty others. Actually what is more remarkable is both some of the other people (Tony Kubek, Mickey Cochrane, Joe Rudi) but also two guys, apparently, did it on the same day!
