Just turned on FOX News and see that Sheppard Smith is down in South Texas. How long before Jerry Rivers shows up with the "hurricane look" that seems to be in now with the news readers.
I think I might just turn into the weather channel to get the unbiased less shrill news.
FOX needs to get Shep out of there if they want to maintain their credibility. He stays and I switch. No way am I going to watch that overemotional twit cause trouble again.
I like the part where the idiots go out into the storm from their hotel and say "It's really picking up now," while being barely able to stand...
I was sort of secretly hoping a 2 x 4 or sheet of metal might zip by one of them real close to drive them back into the safety of thier RV.
They should truck in a few cadavers just in case everything doesn't go to hell down there.
I'm sorry to hear you don't like Fox News. Why don't you watch CNN or MSNBC instead?
There here less then 3 weeks and already post a vanity.
I actually do like FOX news. It is a 100% better then the alphabet channels....it is just that the "talent" seems to go just as crazy as the alphabet talent, and that is not news it is pathetic self agandization.
I would not want it to come "close" to Geraldo, if you know what I mean.
I know what a great opprotunity for people like me to express ourselves. I really do like the FR....it is the only on line news site I go too. If I seem over zealous, I am sure I will calm down eventually.
Welcome to FR and thanks for your years of service!
Thanks, and I do enjoy this site a lot.
Well, look at it this way, there are 215,000 plus members here and so far you have only offended one. That aint too bad!

NO ONE ELSE THOUGHT OF THIS SO IT DESERVES A THREAD OF ITS OWN!
I think each and every poster on FR should post a new thread stating his opinion on the debate. This way, instead of having only a few threads with hundreds of posts each (ie, discussion threads), we will have hundreds of threads, each with two comments. One the important opinion, and two, the complaint about vanity posts.
The newbies don't bother searching or reading the posting guidelines anymore.
everthing aside thanks for your service to this great country.
Shep received high praise from some in the industry and was invited on Letterman to give a first hand account. I suppose that influenced the folks at foxnews to have a repeat performance and in my home, once was more than enough!
I'm waiting for Geraldo to get down on his knees and show the viewers the current path of the hurricane on the beach sand, only to have his drawing wiped clean by the incoming tide.
In Rivers' case, close enough to nick the carotid artery would be very satisfactory.
