Good afternoon. I spent a lovely morning with my granddaughter. We went to a playground, then McDonald's, then another playground to eat lunch. She struck up a friendship with a little girls named "Justice," who has possibly the most beautiful eyes I have seen since Ellizabeth Taylor's early years. Anyway, Justice's babysitter and I took the girls across the street to get some ice cream after they had played hard for about an hour. Granddaughter is currently zonked out from all the food, exercise, and fresh air. I have the babysitter's phone number so that we can set up another day for the girls to play.

I think our excursion did me a lot of good as well. Sometimes its good to get away from the news with all its negativity. It's a beautiful day here and I am glad we took advantage of the time.
