I know a keyboardist who can improvise. He is really, really good.
I'm FReeped out, between following Rita (who is aiming at my son) and storms in the upper midwest (which already hit my relatives and are now aiming at me) and putting up with the likes of you.;^)
Off to lullaby-land. Until the thunder wakes me up.
Nighty-night!!
Well, if you can play and conduct Handel's Messiah I am still in awe of you...and I know absolutely what I don't know...;-))
So THERE!!! ;-))
11 Bravo is pretty tough stuff, these days. Good luck with that, and take care of my kids, when you see 'em. You will know who they are by the uniform. Take care of all of the brats in your AO, and I'll do the same in mine.

I've been asked to speak to the seniors at my alma mater. This is gonna be tough. No cursing for over 10 minutes with a crowd that uses the F-bomb at about 16 Hz. Right. And I've just spent 6 months camping out with the Army and Marines in Alaska. I bet I didn't learn any new words that I can say in front of my grandson... Wanna bet?

Hi, John. What an honor and you truly deserve it.
I'm leaving for the evening. I'll catch up with y'all tomorrow.
That makes me feel a lot better! We do have a lot of big trees. Hope they make it through the storm.
Wanted to get my birthday wishes posted. I know we'll be without power for a few days and sure wouldn't want to miss the big day!
;)
Stay safe
I wouldn't have it any other way. Queen of battle, follow me...
It's certainly going to be quite an ordeal.
We managed during ice storms in KS, survived floods while living in CA. We evacuated Isabel when we lived in VA. We were chased by a bear in Roanoake,VA. I guess we've lived our share of excitements.
But I do believe everything will pale to Rita. I am not looking forward to Friday night and Saturday. If our roof does stay (my husband says it will) it'll be down hill from there. We are tough. No power won't bother me. I love to camp.
I will miss the Dawn Patrol though. I have no idea how long we'll be without power.
But I've become acquainted with some great Freepers right here in my neighborhood. One is within walking distance. That gives me comfort!
I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Prayers are making their way towards you for the surgery tomorrow. Take care.
Thank you so much.
I think I have checked into FReeper hospital. I have muscle spasms in my lower back. Really bad, they are almost constant now. I think I twisted something, I have a dr's appointment tomorrow morning to see what the problem is. I'm hoping it's just spasms and drugs will take care of it. That and bed rest. I was going to Denver this weekend, but 16 hours in the car for two days doesn't sound like fun. :(
It sounds like you are prepared. I love to camp also. STay safe. :)
I hope your back is better. Traveling for that long with a hurt back doesn't sound fun.
Heading off to bed. Prayers for a safe and painless trip.
