I always wondered that too. Mainly because to the left being queer is something akin to sainthood instead of the mental disorder it is. They had an issue with Drudge a few years ago. I remember alot of "Drudge is gay" posts.
But how can being gay be an insult when expressed by someone on the left? Unless, could it be, that the left uses queers just like they use blacks? All the while, behind closed doors the liberal power brokers are laughing their a**es off at those people.

Not only could it be, but it is so. But, they'd never use the term "those people," which has become something of a Pavlovian trigger phrase when used publicly.
