Mr G flew from Nashville to Cinci, to Vienna, to Moscow to Vienna to Moscow to Tompsk (middle of freaking nowhere in Russia).
The round trip to Vienna was courtesy of the man taking him to Russia, who had neglected to get a visa for Russia. (What did he know.... he didn't read Russian) Of course, the minute the plane was in the air on the way back to Vienna, the visa showed up, so they turned right around in Vienna and headed back.

The flights in Russia scared him so bad he will never return to the country. However, on the way back, he swears Sandy Berger was on the same plane (mid Clinton term).
