Sad to see it, and rdb3 as well. FR is a very big tent and some of the people in it aren't always as polite as they ought to be. I was a bit shocked myself at some of the things I read from people I thought I knew better.

No not really, a lot is really more apparent than that lately, actually when I first got here it was bad then disappeared and then really picked up once again with this hurricane. Very strange.

Why did he leave FreeRepublic?

Some people on the forum have been rather caustic lately. Saying all sorts of things, and even race-baiting, and then claiming they are just asking 'honest questions' (even though they always seem to have all sorts of obtuse 'answers' ready). I guess MHKing just got ill of constantly defending himself from such people. He even says so in one thread where he states he has had enough of defending himself and his values, as well as all African-Americans, from those who deem it appropos to paint all of us with a broadbrush. I personally know it can get rather insane at times ....

Anyways, it is a great loss to FR to lose RDB3 and MHKing. They were true gems to the forum.
