I don't know about football, but i remember the 86 semis in the NHL when there was a brawl between the Canadiens and the Flyers, with Ron Hextall getting tossed.

LOL I remember that game. My brother still has a photo of one of the Flyers coming onto the ice with his socks on. (no shoes, no skates, just socks)

I can go one better, I was at a Blackhawks-Northstars game in 89 or 90, where there was a 10 minute brawl during the pre game skate. It was a total Slapshot scene, blood on the ice, goalies going at it, no refs in sight. LOL, the game took 5 hours, everyone lined up at the payphone to swear to wife or girlfriend, really we're at the game not at Hawkeyes.
