Now you know why I tend to write to those who advertise on the History Channel, informing them of which products/services of theirs I will no longer be using.

for one will NEVER AGAIN WATCH THIS CHANNEL BECAUSE OF IT'S BIASED, SLANTED, LYING, VIEW OF YOUR SO-CALLED "REPORTING" OF HISTORY. YOU MAKE ME SICK!!!!!!!!

About as sick as your review makes me feel. It says exactly nothing. How about telling us what you found so objectional?

You may as well have taken a piss in the ocean. They don't care what the hell you think and to them, you are wrong. History is written by those in power which scares me because this means five years of Bush has done little to get the truth out or even change the history books our kids read. That should have been the main topic of the education bill. Anyway, the left controls all the television stations except for some Christian broadcasters. They set the agenda and push the pop culture every day and they try to wear us down one by one.

With the History Channel you have to sift the wheat fon the chaff. All in all it did not put the Klintoon Admin in a good light either. And yes I watched it all. O and the History Channel is owned by the MSM(ABC I think).

I no longer take the History channel seriously. They tried to draw equivalence between Clinton's sexual harrassment / sexual discrimination / perjury and some Roman Emperor who was unseated due to "frivolous" moral concerns.

Makes me wonder how much of history is BS. Hell, the "historians" on that channel can't even get the last decade right. LOL.

Not to be nit-picky but, what just happened in New Orleans was a "tragedy"....9-11 was an "attack".

I found the 9-11 documentaries on National Geographic Channel as being honest and just outstanding. I was definitely surprised. I think they were called "Inside 911."

They mentioned Able Danger in "The Cell from Hamburgh" last night. Just two lines though.

This is a knee-jerk reaction; the History Channel beats the hell out of just about anything on NBC, ABC, CBS. History has always been written by the winners, so instead of whining about what you don't like, why don't you provide specific rebuttals of what you do not think are "facts?" Hysteria, and declarations of Christian broadcasting "accuracy" do nothing for the discussion except make you appear to be a disgruntled loser.

There has been at least 12 hours of programming related to 9-11 on the History Channel today, and it's a mixed bag. I thought not all of it was bad. Late last night they had a detailed examination of the members of the Hamburg cell, which I thought was interesting. Threre was also an about 2-hour examination of Bin Laden's terror infrastructure in Afghanistan.

The program that may be raising your ire is the two-hour program on "The 9-11 Commission Report" which gives a big portion of its "talking head time" to Democratic commissioners, with predicable results. Because it is summarizing the 9-11 Commission report, it has all of the atrocious weaknesses of that document.

Other programming to think about is the "Inside 9-11" series by National Geographic which appeared only a few weeks ago. I only saw a little bit of that (I think it's something like 3 hours), but I was startled by some of the apparently new info in there (they may have mentioned Able Danger). There is also an upcoming dramatization called "The Flight that Fought Back" on the Discovery channel which talks about events leading up to the crash of the plane in Pennsylvania.

I think there is good stuff on the History channel, but you have to use your brain in evaluating their material. Best of luck.
