"There taking weapons from everyone. Nobody in NO with their life's on the line gives a shit whether the citizen is or isn't a law abiding. Exactly what is my point? Seize every weapon and sort it out later before some law abiding citizen, who refuses to obey the authorities and leave, finds himself convicted of murder. And by the way, the police seizing these weapons today may have to come back tomorrow to forcefully remove these very same citizens. Nice of you watching on TV to demand these citizens have weapons when the police return so that you sitting out of harms way can feel your guns are safe."

I don't know what's worse, your spelling and grammar or your (lack of) respect for individual freedom.

Yes, take away guns from the law abiding, because you're going to be getting all the guns from the criminals.

Guess what: That has never worked. Criminals don't obey laws, and when the cops come for their guns, they won't be anywhere around.

And when the cops leave, the criminals will have their guns and the law abiding citizens will be defenseless.

So, I guess there's three strikes against you: Can't spell, don't give a crap about freedom and rights, and you lack the ability to logically think through a situation.

In varies, sometimes spelling, other times grammar. I have no respect for individual freedom (try the plural, it works better) when you are the individual.

Very good. You were able to understand we are taking all the guns.

Guess what: 60% of the NO is still underwater, the criminals haven't gone anywhere.

I'm not playing baseball but I have a feeling if you are you would be more interested in 4 balls rather than 3 strikes. I've thought the situation through and came to the exact same conclusion as the boots on the ground in NO, You didn't. So don't talk to me about the ability to logically think throught a situation.

One, it won't be sorted out. No one is likely to get their gun back. Two, ANY excuse to seize guns from law abiding citizens opens the door for the govt. to start seizing them, en masse from the entire country.

No, the authorities should not be using this as an excuse to take guns. I am not sure I get your point. On one hand you advocate the govt. taking guns, and a paragraph or so later you seem to be contradicting your own point. Sorry, just trying to figure out what, exactly you are saying.

Excellent reply. I responded to this HGI-type from a slightly different angle.
