In addition to his journalism, he has also done several books and runs a popular blog called "The Bleat".

He and Mark Steyn are some of my favorite political writers.

There's a good reason why your post was pulled. Liberals are now trying to smear and discredit FR by portraying this website as a "right-wing hate blog." I saw that phrase used at the start of an editorial rant by some leftist writer last week. So the mods are trying not to give the leftists any ammunition to use against FR in their smear efforts. Hence they are being fairly strict about apparent calls for violence or any racially-charged statements.

There may also be liberal infiltrators who've signed up for FR and are now trying to post hateful comments to make FR look bad. Some guy signed up as "Aryan Power" last week and used the n-word regarding the situation in New Orleans. (He was quickly captured and deported from FR.) Just stick around and be aware that we have to watch our image and make an extra effort to not appear "hateful." There are ways to rephrase your exact opinions so that they are perceived as being more calm and friendly, and then your posts will not become ammuntion for those seeking to smear FR.

I did see that happen yesterday. Someone posted a great article about the futility of forced integretion with references to the inability of many in the black underclass to assimilate. The tone of it wasn't racist, rather it did underscore some very real problems. It was pulled. I though it was approriate under the circumstances we see in NO right now.
