Thanks for remembering Patsy Cline, Lunarbicep.
Her voice was beautiful. She had a remarkable gift. She was also very pretty but from looking through some of the photos they used for her publicity, you'd never know it.

My dad was her insurance agent when she and Charlie lived here in Fayetteville, NC. He has said that she would come to the door looking just like any other housewife. That would have been in the mid-50s and she hadn't become as popular yet as she was to become. She autographed a number of things for daddy.

I can't stand most county "music", but I love Patsy Cline (I even own some!)...her voice was unmatchable, and so was her talent.
