If the picture of those buses was of participants in the million man march on washington instead, the count would be proclaimed to be ten million buses instead of hundreds or thousands.
The important thing to remember though, is that whatever the inventory of buses-none were used- and each could have carried about thirty seated people each trip, to a safe place.
