I disagree, she makes sure she gets credit for all the freebees (i.e. fleet of cars given out, it was the dealship that went in with her for promotional advertisement, and they did have to pay the taxes, licenses, etc)but she got all the credit. Yes she is a generous woman, but many give and don't advertise it "look at how much I gave" .

I agree that Oprah has always shared her wealth. She's a decent person at heart. It's just right now if I see another celebrity jump on this bandwagon, I'll puke.

When you make $100 million a year (or whatever she makes) it's pretty easy to be philanthropic. And SOMEHOW, her philanthropy has not remained a secret.
