Yes, tornados are most common in the northeast quadrant of a storm, which is what hit my area.

My home, which cost MONEY, was flooded to the rooftop. If you're curious, do a google map Katrina search with 4316 Genie Street, Meraux, LA 70075. That is the middle of a middle-class neighborhood that has roof-high flooding. Flooding not because of a storm, because of a "breached" levee. I use the term loosely, because some I know heard the explosion.

Sinking a city to save the money in New Orleans. Doesn't get more money-related than that.
