Did Rush cite any particular threads? [Said with anticipation as one who has posted many ;-) ]
Better yet, did he mention me?
I don't believe so...he just made a generalized reference [sigh!].
He said the "freepers are going a great job"
I heard it. I think it was in reference to unearthing an old Times editorial that said fixing the levees was a Bush boondoggle at 2.5 billion, and now today calling W out for not authorizing 14 billion!
Yes, he did. He said to give him a call if a 4pm tee off time is good for you.
Rush so eloquently answered that moron who said Bush wants blacks to die, etc etc. Rush was right. People who think that way are a lost cause. There is no point in arguing with them.
Rush did have at least one fact wrong though. He said LA has been under Demo leadership for decades. Not true. The previous governor before Blanco was a Republican. So you can't say all of New Orleans' problems are the result of Demo mayors and governors. But Dems always have had control of the state legislature, I think. Hard to assign any blame for this Katrina mess on former Gov Foster.
I thought that was caught by National Review Online.
Oh well! Thanks.
Good Job ping.
He said the "freepers are going a great job"
It was in regard to keeping focus on the state level as opposed to attacking the federal level.
Rush is just starting here and don't want to miss it!
Actually he mentioned 'Powerline' as a favorite blog first then added at the end of the sentence both freerepublic.com and "the great work of Freepers are doing on this" (paraphrase).
What? Rush didn't single me out for my succinct and insightful analysis of Katrina and the political firestorm in the aftermath.
Rush stayed so cool during that call when you know he wanted to jump thru the line and strangle that caller!
I was in the car and could barely drive.
I know. I'm shocked!
Rush is the best. :-)
He knows who is doing the hard work out there, and while he didn't mention names, he alluded again to the turncoats that jumped down Bush's throat and sided with the MSM in the "nuMedia" too. IMO, they have a decision to make. They can either tell the Truth and resist the pressure, or those members of the "nuMedia" can join the Democrats. I've no used for cowards that flee when there is a fight, then whine and moan that Bush doesn't fight back, then when things are good to latch to his coattails. They are useless.
