I just ordered a tshirt that is anti Che Guevara. Just tired of watching all the twits wearing them totally clueless.
I thought I better brush up on my facts before I wear it. Looking for suggestions on a good book on the subject.
Note: Hope I did this right. It's my first vanity.
Did you try google?
After you googled "Che Guevara" and found over 1 million links, did you still need some info?
For the most trusted sources. . . Free Republic.
Find out who Felix Rodriguez is.
He's dead.
Gee thanks.

Of course I did, I was hoping for one with a conservative bend. Sorry to bother.
You're a touch sensitive considering you didn't even bother to say what was going to be on your shirt.
He was a follower of Cow Tse Dung and became a revolutionary veal.

The shirt says "Commies aren't cool". His face with a circle red line thru it.
It's just toooooo cute!
When you goggle Che do an advanced search using "Special Forces" "8th" and "Beret"
You can cut to the chase real quick
PBS just aired a whole thing on Castro, Che included. Check their site for links.
I found many books, articles, web pages , etc.
But after I read a more than a few people spouting how he had changed hate to mean something new and inspired millions over and over thought I would ask.
I kept thinking, I came not to praise Che, but to bury him.
Maybe you could just put his visage on the seat of the pants instead on a T-shirt. Then you'd not need any red diagonal slashes and circles, nor any text, for the picture location would speak most eloquently all by itself.
I have that shirt!!! You should see some of the looks I get. Priceless.
He was a bungling drug addict murderer who, when Castro seized power in Cuba, was sent off to "foment revolution". In truth he was sent away because he was a bungler. He wasnt even Cuban-he was Argentine. A fraud if there ever was one..
As Felix Rodriguez will tell you, Che was spotted in La Paz where he had gone to incite revolution. He was tracked into the jungles of Bolivia where he was captured by Bolivian army in October 1967. His execution was ordered by the head of the Bolivian army. Che knew what was coming; after all, he had ordered the execution of many Cubans ("al paredon") after Fidel defeated Batista. He died without cringing.
Che was a punk who died like a cornered rat.
Being a hero of the revolution is not so cool when you are getting plugged full of holes.
