Sean Penn - DISASTER RELIEF EXPERT!
www.foxnews.com | Joe Aguilar

Posted on 09/05/2005 3:00:34 PM PDT by Reagangan1

Sean Penn, in his ridiculous interview with Soledad "it's all Bush's fault" Obrien, claimed that there were only "one sixth" of the relief workers and troops needed to "do the job" in New Orleans.

I had NO IDEA Sean Penn was a disaster relief expert!

Let's see... who should I believe? Sean Penn, or General "I-feel-like-bitch-slapping-a-reporter" Honorae (the commander of federal forces in New Orleans)? I think I'll go with Gen Honorae.

Shortly after making these ridiculous comments, Sean Penn tried to get into a small boat with his "entourage" (camera's in tow, of course) in order to "rescue the people of New Orleans". Penn forgot, however, that the plug at the bottom of the boat was missing, and the boat soon began to sink.

What a great metaphor: The mainstream media's efforts to "pin the blame on President Bush" are SINKING as things get better.

Bwaaaaahaha ... for a moment there I thought he captured an ice scupltured dolphin by the snout before realizing that was the famous red cup bailout scene, take 1. Actually, it wouldn't be too surprising for a hollyweird type to bring an ice sculpture to a disaster party.

Thanks Keith. I know FNC is slowly swerving to the left but I almost had a heart attack reading O'Brien was now with FOX.

Looks like on his trip to Iran, he didn't find the glorious Utopian society he was expecting. Got to move on to something else he can bash President Bush with. This guy must have gone to the Jesse Jackson school of parasitical politics. I mean he can't even get a small boat to float, and now he wants to tell everybody what a terrible job the President has done. The lunacy of the left is beyond comprehension. It can't be understood, so don't even try.

Sean Penn only has one-sixth of the IQ necessary to qualify as one of the more useful members of the tuber or legume families.

Seriously, they can't manage one stinking rescue, but Bush is supposed to rescue everybody in 5 minutes. These people are evil, incompetent a-holes.

Nailed it.

Not to Iraq he was a "journalist" in Iran where they treated him with the respect he feels he's entitled to. Similar I guess to the way Saddam used to treat the CNN reporters due to their "understanding" of the way they should report per the former head of CNN news.

I'm sure this is just what the professional rescuers need -- some idiot celebrity looking for a photo op who will probably need to be rescued himself. If Penn truly wanted to help he would write a check, shut up and let the professionals do their jobs. But, like most celebrities, Penn needs to make every situation about HIM.

btw, didn't Penn drop out of HS?

That's the way they do it in television and movies which is where Penn got his experience about disasters.
