I wouldn't want that job for any amount of money. That state is one big cess pool of corruption. It would be a waste of his talents. If I were him I'd take the Colin Powell route .... only not turn down the offer when the entire country begs you to run for President.

and Wolf just finished interviewing Clinton..... the former Prez knows just where the blame lies in what happened TO THE RESCUE OF THE POOR NOLA'S.....believe if someone can get that interview from this afternoon, we can see the black President, as he is known, along with Sen Hillary making this racial. I can personally vouch for this man. When I arrived at Ft. Stewart, GA from Germany in Sept. 1995 I was assigned to the HHC 1st Brigade 24th Infantry Div. Shortly before our deployment to Egypt for OPERATION: BRIGHT STAR I landed the job of driving then-COL. Honore's M113A3 APC. He was the 1st Brigade commander and I can assure you after witnessing first hand his leadership that he is the right man for this job. He takes no crap from anyone and when he issues an order it is executed IMMEDIATELY!! I have every confidence in this man's abilities in getting this situation down there in order to help people and the region recover.

Holy cow! We were in 1st Brigade at the same time !

Do you remember hearing about the M577 command track in 1-41FA that caught fire and burned up because the crew tried to refuel the generator while it was still mounted on the track? My TC woke me up at 2 in the morning for us to take COL Honore out to see it and chew some a$$, LOL! "John Wayne" dude? Man, he's BETTER than John Wayne!
