Don't too many go Y2K here. But with that said, we do keep a min of six months food on hand. One item is a bushel of soy beans (friend gets it for just a couple of bucks in IL from a farmer) for home made bean curd, (tofu) takes just a few minutes to make and is super high in fat and protein.

Nice article but everybody need to remember the Hot Sauce, Salt, Pepper and other various spices.
Everything goes better with a shot of Tabasco or Texas Pete.
