I've heard about the radical departures in the filmed "A Beautiful Mind."
Oddly enough, I prefer the film as fiction to what I've heard about the book. (But eventually I'll be reading it. Is it in paperback?)

Yes. And I agree that the movie is better entertainment; problem is, I'd have to call it misleading.
As far as I'm concerned, the film is fiction.
But it tells a compelling tale about schizophrenia that needs to be heard.
And yes, it's damned entertaining. I wish I'd written it.

I've had several "insane" cats. Had to put the last one to sleep in June following a brain tumor that followed a head injury. Not that he hadn't been "insane" prior to that whole chain of events. He was a feral kitten from a nuclear power plant and adopted me. He scanned clean - no outward contamination, but that doesn't mean something wasn't wrong on a genetic level.
