No white politician, federal or state, could possibily, politically, say it was OK to shoot black looters; it would just appear too politically un-PC. The criticism afterward would have been a firestorm.

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and other black leaders should have stepped forward and OK'd that idea.
And then hundreds, and possibly thousands, of black citizens of New Orleans might have been saved from their attics and from the streets.

But they couldn't bring themselves to do that; it would have been just too out of character for them.

So looters were allowed to roam free. And hundreds, and maybe thousands, died.

Only Louis Farrakhan might have had the balls to say go ahead and shoot the looters, they are just verim, black or not. And maybe Bill Cosby.

And that's a pretty damning commentary on the rest of the black "leadership" of America.

Yeah, I guess those like Kanye, Al, and the Jesse's missed the part of the story where the looters were shooting AT THE HELP as they were flying in last week to rescue people, and at the cops on the streets. I am sure that they would feel a lot different had they been one of the rescuers being shot at. Heck, they probably WOULD HAVE shot back!
