NBC got smart, after the shooting blacks comment, to deep six him immediately after the "Bush hates black people" comment, so at least they realized they were treading in racial quicksand.

They quickly cut to some other black guy, who did a remarkable job of getting the subject back on track. Who is the guy they switched to, to save face?

That was Chris Tucker from the Rush Hour movies. Guy is funny as hell. And you are right, he did a great job after a horrible moment with asswipe Kayne West.

Great job Kanye. Didn't you think about all the white people watching on TV who were so turned off by your comments that they turned away. He'll be kicking himself in the morning when that sinks in.
