This coming from a guy who did a remake of Diamonds are Forever.

Yeah, you want to talk about racism watch the video for this song. Its message is to not buy diamonds from Shri-lanka or where-ever because of civil war profiteering or slave labor or some such.. Point is, the video consists of vignettes of rich white people wearing and giving these evil diamonds while laughing and partying. Meanwhile black children emerge from mines after digging up diamonds.

Gee, Kayne...ever see how many diamonds are on ONE of your bling-bling trinkets or any other rappers for that matter? Usher just had a watch made encrusted with no less then 1000 diamonds. Where are they in your vignettes? Hypocrite.

Time rag is featuring Kayne on their current issue, at least here in Canada. It calls him "Raps class act" and praises him for his innovation. Innovation...his music blows and that's saying a lot since it is hip-hop to begin with. He uses the "N" bomb quite a bit to my understanding and his videos objectify women with the best of them. I fail to see where the innovation is.

Rap Music has become nothing more then remakes and talking to a premade beat. These rappers are getting rich off the the poor people they claim they care about. Now I am sure there are some rappers out there who do truely care and give back to the community but I have yet to see a single one do it.
