On the Michael Medved show I heard an excerpt of an interview with Harry Connick Jr. and his comments about the looters and was stunned he sympathized about the looters intent on aquiring plasma tv's illegally. Anyone know the source of this interview? Nothing turning up here on Free Republic.

I saw on Harry Connick Jr's website he has now since retracted his statement, but no excerpt of his original statement

Hey, Harry, I heard they broke into your house and stole all your stuff. Still sympathetic?

He was probably hoping they could finally catch up with his appearances on Will & Grace reruns.

I seriously doubt he had any sympathy. He was quoted today as saying (in regards to his father's home):

"I don't want to get looted by the one-eyed rogue crackhead out there."
