A response to Jesse Jackon's Bigotry (Vanity)
http://www.drudgreport.com ^

A quote from Jackson in the article linked on Matt's website:

" Jackson questioned why Bush has not named blacks to top positions in the federal response to the disaster, particularly when the majority of victims remaining stranded in New Orleans are black: "How can blacks be locked out of the leadership, and trapped in the suffering?"

The Mayor of New Orleans said, "get off your asses" not, "send in the asses." In this case, a first class Assclown!

Sorry. I'm venting. I'm furious. This "man" is not a leader and is everything wrong with New Orleans. In fact, the death of his fellow citizens are more his blame, I should say, more of the ilk like him, are to blame for this massive tragedy and loss of life. His encouragement of government dependence has contributed to creating a class of people who cannot do anything for themselves, imprisoning them within the confines of America's most seedy slums.

Never once do you hear this horse's ass encourage people in time of need, solidify their faith in God, or even give sincere words of hope. This man is a national embarrassment, regardless of the color of your skin.

Unfortunately, the black communities in our country unrelentingly cling to this man like a beaten child does to his abusive father, like mindless lemmings, he continues to lead them into the abyss of despair and poverty while he fills his own pockets with money and feeds his ego with empty praise.

I'm sorry. I don't mean to spew, I've had a hard day and there are many of my colleagues in Pascagaoula, MS that are hurting and suffering; still, many are unaccounted for.

No Mr. Jackson, it doesn't take a black person to help a black person, it just takes someone to put aside their bigotry to help a fellow human in need; unfortunately, you sir, have not set aside YOUR bigotry. As you foam at the mouth with the same-old same-old, your fellow countrymen are dying--black, white, asian, hispanic et al.

Jackson needs to be urging "his people" to stop the looting.

Just like muslims need to urge their own people to stop terrorism, Jackson needs to stop his people from becoming hooligians.

Your frustration and need to vent is understandable. There are more people than you can imagine who echo your sentiments. So, go ahead, vent all you want, for ALL of us.

Condi Rice is holding a press conf now.
One of the female " reporters " ( it sounded like Andrea Koppel of CNN ) asked this :

Today the Congressional Black Caucus said that the reason aid was slow in arriving to New Orleans, was because most of the residents are black and poor .

" Couldn't that be true ? "

I love it. Jackson whines for Bush to appoint Blacks to FEMA, but never misses a chance to brand Dr Rice, Gen Powell, and Judge Thomas, "Uncle Toms", "House N_____s", and "Sellouts".

Get off your high horse, Jackson, act like a PREACHER for once in your life, and help some of your fellow human beings.

I hear you Shortwave. I have been thinking the same thing.

JJ, and those like him, have done so much to create a class of people who's only plan of action is to sit and wait for the government to do for them.

And I certainly don't mean all, or just, African-Americans. It is a sub-class crossing racial lines. They are the "lazy poor". Those who are so convinced that anything they ever do will be fruitless because the deck is stacked against them they they simply don't try anymore.

So they whine that the response was "too slow" (B-Fing-S) and not want someone to come in fresh to an agency they aren't a part of and RUN IT during an already "too slow" response?

I just don't get it. But I sure hope the left keeps up the blaming and the whining and the complaining, 'cuz REAL AMERICA is just about as fed up with that crap as they can get.

It does not surprise me that anarchy reigns in N.O.
Liberals have encouraged blacks to sit on their rumps, vote for democrats and go to rallies to scream at 'whitey' for whatever reason.
My country is embarrassed in front of the whole world at
the uncivilized behavior of lazy, good for nothings.

An huge, obese woman was pushing a shopping cart from the direction of public housing screaming, "I needs help, where is help"? " I lost everything'!
Contrast this to the owner of a small business who has now lost his livihood, his house, his possessions and has only the clothes on his back. He stands with quiet dignity.
The obese woman lost nothing! She'll go back to leeching off the american public and collect her welfare checks.
The small business owner has no such assurances.
Don't you just love liberals?

The obese woman lost nothing

That brings up another point. So many of our poor people are OBESE! What the heck? In the rest of the world when you're poor...you don't get to eat much. If an American can be dirt poor and still manage to pack on an extra 150 lbs that sure says something about the extent of the system we have set up. I think this disaster has displaced a lot of people we never get to see. I bet many never ventured far from their neighborhoods, content to grow fat on the tax-payers dime.
