I am so very sick and tired of the "Bush's Fault" mantra. When world leaders, every demonRAT "leader" that can find a microphone and every ignorant moron on the street, claim that PRESIDENT Bush caused this natural disaster as well as every other horrific thing that has happened, will happen or might happen before the end of the world, it "begins" to wear on my nerves.
Had the PRESIDENT stood on the Gulf coast with arms raised and said, "Peace, be still, in the name of Jesus" and caused the hurricane to disappear, do you think it would shut any one up? Of course not.
That days headline would read:
BUSH THINKS HE IS GOD!
Again, my apologies. Next time I will shut down and go to bed.
Hi Justanobody,
No apology necessary.
That was my first attempt at creating a thread here. I will be more clear about my feelings toward Slick Willy if I mention him in the future.
I would disagree with you on one matter though. If President Bush stood on the sea shore and successfully appealed to God for relief from the storm, the secular humanists in the press would accuse him (and Halliburton) of a plot to control Mother Nature in an effort to save the oil wells in the gulf.
And if he invoked the name of Jesus, then CAIR would call for yet another jihad.
And the conspiracy kooks who believe Dan Brown's (my name too, unfortunately) Da Vinci books would start putting the pieces together to realize that it wasn't just any bush that Moses heard from on the mount, it was future President George 'Burning' Bush!
Good luck to ya.
