Usually when FF crashes like that, it's a theme or extension causing the problems. It's a bit of work, but the best thing to do is uninstall all themes you've added, and all extensions you've added. Then add them back in, one by one, until you figure out which one's the problem.

Best advice on this thread. (1.06 has been a real problem with even the most innocuous of extensions).
