It's made in America, and far more capable than any of the scooters you mentioned.
The Buell Blast looked good so I looked it up on google - I've never seen so many NEGATIVE comments on any bike before!

I have a friend that has a Buell and loves it, even more than his panhead (Big Harley). I would get a small propper motorcycle, scooters are just too underpowered, and you MUST take a rider safety course no matter what, the skills I gained saved my life early one Arizona morning
I ride and have lost my left leg in a motorcycle vs drunk driver wreck,but I won't give it up TOO MUCH FUN. If you are going to get hurt you will get hurt no matter what. For example I stepped on a mine in Kwuait city in 1991, turned out to be a dud....just wasn't my time!
I would love to get a bungh of freepers who ride together for a conservative biker bash. We could ride by and tease the anti war protestors (LOTS "O" FUN)
