Depending on how far you have to go, how about a Honda Ruckus? (small engine, not made for highways) Great on gas, cruises comfortably at about 35 mph. Plus, it doesn't have the Euro/Gay look about it....

Honda makes a good product, but I gotta tell you that I think the Ruckus looks like a lawn tractor sans mower deck :lol:

When I first got interested in two-wheeled transportation I wanted a Honda Reflex, but DH told me he wouldn't ride with me if I had one :( - he's a bike bigot :lol:. So I ended up taking the MSF class and getting a Suzuki GS500 motorcycle...
