And what you call "compassion" I call a felony. And so does USC Title 8 Section 1324.

The victims of Black poverty and Black crime are overwhelmingly Black. Many Black neighborhoods receive less police services than white neighborhoods.

Oh I see, then all the looting is just about reparations.

OK.

"Freedom's untidy, and free people are free to make mistakes and commit crimes and do bad things. They're also free to live their lives and do wonderful things. And that's what's going to happen here."

Wow...I haven't read something that assinine since the Terri Thread tm showdowns.

The difference is, the children that you pay to educate are here LEGALLY.  Same thing with uninsured or foodstamp recipients.  You pass along a huge debt to the rest of us, just so you can illegally employ some people and save a few bucks.

That's not even taking into account all the contractors who've gone out of business because they decided to play by the rules and can't compete with those who employ illegals or hire illegal day workers.

What about the people who still live in the neighborhoods that are now over-run by your illegal dayworkers?  The litter, the abandoned cars, the public drunkenness and urination, the houses that used to be homes to families that now shelter 25 assorted aliens?  Guess it's just too bad for them.  They ought to ignore laws like you and the looters do.

Yes, except that I'm not the one committing felonies at your expense. You see, I live in Cochise County, AZ which is ground zero for the ongoing invasion. I see how this affects myself, my family, my friends, my neighbors, and the entire community. If you and people like you would stop breaking the law and hiring these border intruders, they would go home and stop coming. Your actions are directly affecting me. Then to see your high hypocrisy in which you encourage the lawbreaking criminal invaders while denigrating the hurricane looters - well, that pissed me off. You really need to examine your premises on this one. You're so very wrong and you're breaking the law. Again, what you're doing is the same as if you went down to New Orleans and stood lookout while the looters cleaned out a liquor store and then you jumped onto Free Republic to post about how cool you think it all was and then started ranting about how really evil those carjackers in Los Angeles are.

For those who failed to notice the distinction I attempted to draw between persons legally or illegally taking action to feed their families, and those who while having the huge benefit of American citizenship still fail to grasp the necessity to make a way for themselves, I guess that is too bad.

Call me a hypocrite or whatever, but I call them as I see them, and if that aint good enough, then try to remember that you got what you paid for. Its a rant, not a lecture. Its an opinion, not a demand.

Actually, that coupling of you with the looters is probably a little more incindiary than called for, so I withdraw that part of the comment.  But I do wish you'd consider the "hidden costs" when employing and thusly encouraging illegals.

I disagree these worthless looters aren't a result of a lot of hard work over the decades. Liberals have been working hard and overtime to produce just such a class of dependent dolts who will vote for them on demand and who depend on their (our) largess. It also gives them a lot more opportunity to run these cities which have become welfare sumps and thereby skim off graft for themselves and their cronys and make themselves important and rich off the taxpayers.

Unfortunately, the Liberal Plan worked so well none of these slugs want to do any tough (or even "any") worthwhile labor any more - preferring instead to sit around watching Jerry, produce illegitimate bastards by the boatload, use drugs, suck up welfare checks and blame "The Man" for their failure.

So, because of the shortage of honest available labor by honest American citizens, the Liberals now have joined in to import illegal labor from the rest of the world which will do these available jobs, cheap. But never fear, the Liberals will try to turn these ignorant, hard-working people into the same slugs we now see looting TVs - or at least making their kids into the same sort of dependent people.

I am sorry to observe that you - by hiring these same illegals outside of Home Depot and defending these illegal aliens - you are complicit in helping the Libs advance their agenda. These illegals are disobeying our laws - just like the looters - and so are you as well by hiring them, and so is our abysmally negligent government by ignoring the problem until it has itself blossomed to crisis proportions.

Other than that, good rant.

uh, I think I was pretty clear that the looting of non-essentials was in NO WAY OK.

Further the honest poor do not get the goods stolen so how is that "reparations." The honest poor are harmed by the crimes of their fellow Blacks.

Generally the law abiding Black poor get it from all directions -- they get lumped with scummy looters of the same skin color, they get ignored by services like evacuation and police protection from rampant crime, and their neighborhoods get trashed by looters with whom their only common bond is race and poverty.

In the wake of looting/crime who opens stores in Black neighborhoods?

Maybe Jesse Jackson should have gone to Louisiana and tried to push for evacuation of Blacks instead of going to Venezuela to hug Chavez. Black leaders are half the problem.
