Millions of Illegal Aliens/Criminal Invaders have been looting America for decades. They are looters living in plain sight and by your admission you have broken the law (a felony) and aided and abetted them. Why don't you go down to New Orleans and stand as lookout as the looters go through a jewelry store or someone's house. It's the same damned thing.
I usually like what you write here and I'm usually in agreement with you. This time you really blew it. The juxtaposition of your comments supporting the illegal alien looters followed by your comments denigrating the post-hurricane looters demonstrates a high level of hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance on your part.
Still, there are those who think its okay to just stroll in and take it, whatever it was, and it should disgust you.
It does disgust me. And it sounds like the criminal invaders who just stroll across the border, stroll through my neighborhood - trashing it, and then take whatever it is (jobs, benefits, citizenship) they want - it should disgust you too.
Stop making excuses for them.
Exactly. Stop making excuses for the criminal invader looters that infest our nation. And for those, like yourself, who break the law by hiring them.
I can't stand the looters - no matter where they're from, what color they are, or what their story is. It is not about race or color, but about the criminal acts they engage in and their blatant disregard for our laws. Whether they're cleaning car stereos out of a hurricane-wrecked Wal Mart or cleaning out American jobs and benefits like free education and emergency room care - they are looters all the same.

What you call indifference, I call compassion. I would never turn down a working man, not even if he came from Mars. My job is not border patrol, and you can bet there are as many legal residents standing outside Home Depot as illegals. I don't even ask. If a man wants to work, I will hire him if I have something for him to do. I wont judge what others do to feed their children, but I will judge what others do to feed their egos.

Ping to this thread where Pukin Dog lionizes illegal aliens and demonizes looters despite them being the same thing. See

I aint on a mission, pal. I did not write this thing as some sort of cause-celeb, except to suggest that we not excuse looters. You have a perfect right to judge my actions as much as I judge the looters. You have that right.
Aint it great that we can disagree without gunplay?

Pukin Dog lionizes illegal aliens and demonizes looters despite them being the same thing. I am comforted to know that my lack of common sense is shared by others.

What you call indifference, I call compassion. LOL. You're caught. Were I you, I'd excise the confession of complicity in hiring illegal workers and keep the bulk of your rant, which is pretty good.

You really shouldn't admit to your own indifference to criminal activity while blasting the criminal activity of others. There...there...Dave, take a deep breathe.....feel better now???
You think my one sentence pointing out the obvious flaws in his selective outrage over illegal behavior is somehow "overheated"? You haevn't seen overheated.

Thats right, YOUR EXPENSE. It will be you and I who ends up paying for what others have stolen.
Hmmm... well, these illegals that you avail yourself of in order to save a few bucks, when they get drunk and in a knife fight, I guess you're showing up at the emergency room to pay their bill? Are you the one writing the checks to cover their kids in our public schools? Are you paying additional taxes to cover their foodstamps?
I'm sure you wouldln't be leaving it up to others to pay for what you have, in effect, stolen.

it was probably sarcasm)

What you call indifference, I call compassion. Please tell me what compassion you're showing to your fellow Americans who live along the U.S./Mexican border who are daily affected by the invasion pouring across that border?
- Tell me what compassion you're showing to the people who are put out of work by the dishonest, lawbreaking employers who illegally exploit cheap labor to make a higher profit.
- Tell me what compassion you're showing to the taxpayers who have to foot the bill for educating the families of those who have violated our borders and are here illegally.
- Tell me what compassion you have for the Border Patrol agents who are injured or killed by the criminal invaders who shoot at them or throw rocks.
- Tell me what compassion you have for my friends who have been beaten by border intruders stealing their cars.
- Tell me what compassion you have for the American ranchers who live in Cochise County, AZ (where I live) who live in fear as hundreds of criminal invaders march across their ranches, destroying their fences, pumps, tanks, cattle, and other property.
- Tell me what compassion you have for the people who live in southern Arizona who will die because they now have only one trauma center in the entire region because all others have closed down due to the cost of treating illegal aliens for free.
- Tell me what compassion you have for the pregnant women in far southeastern Arizona who can't have children at the hospitals there because they've closed the maternity wards due to the inundation of illegal aliens who get free health care there.
That's only a small sampling of the problems cause by this invasion - an invasion that would not be occuring if there were not people in America who will break the law and hire illegal aliens. These are
Americans that I'm talking about. Show some compassion to them before you show compassion to the criminal invaders who shouldn't be here in the first place and who leave so much destruction in their wake as they travel to you so that you can get some cheap and illegal work done on your houses.

Where to begin?
As I have no children, yet pay confiscatory taxes, I think I do my part, yes. And, it would not be difficult to find an occasional drunken knife-fight where both parties are legal citizens, so I will leave that one to you. As for food-stamps, we are all paying. I pay property taxes on four homes, though I live in one. I think I'm paying my fair share, yes I do.
You certainly have the right to disagree.
