Well, I thought the subtext there was that mixed drinks are for women. =P

some might say that, I don't....

I think it is a matter of taste personally....

my brother likes mixed drinks, but I don't.

didn't mean to imply that.

Gotcha.

Guess it's time to try some different brands out.

yeah...especially with football season coming up.

but always get a DD. Since you just started drinking, no one knows how everything will affect you.

Being overly-cautious, I probably won't even go out somewhere if I intend to drink. I'll just stay in my room here.

I'm sure it's probably just a tough getting a Bud at a Bronco game.

It's too bad they scheduled the Giants and Patriots for the most meaningless pre season game.

Wouldn't surprise me. Most fans polled think it's the official beer of the NFL now anyways. Not surprising considering how many ads Budweiser buys during the NFL season.

I am not going to let the Rolling Stones ruin my NFL experience... Sorry I cannot participate. I will be watching. However, I am disappointed with the Stones political stance.

I think I'll use the pre game concert as time to buy some souvenirs and some food.

True story. Back in the early 80's when the F*** Cardinals still played football at Bush Stadium, someone sued because all you could buy was Bush or Bud. For several games sometime during the second quarter the vendors would all leave the stands and come back with a case of LaBatts. As soon as all of that was sold, they would bring back the Bush or Bud. A groan would go through the crowd and people would make the supreme sacrafice to get rid of the LaBatts.

My girlfriend likes Lambic Frombroise. It's a Raspberry Ale. She seems to think it's really good. She couldn't remember how to spell the name. So, she swapped the B for a D, and as I'm sure you can imagine, it was quite embarassing for me to go in and ask for "lamdic".

(Mainly because I split the sound between the m and the d.)

Even though we lost to your Patsies, I have to say, it was one of the best Super Bowl games ever. Despite Janet's malfunction.

Look forward to the rematch this year in Charlotte, and then hopefully, a rematch in February!!!

The Panthers aren't getting a lot of pre season love from the "experts" but then again no one had them going to the big game two years ago either.
