Pewter Parrot, you left out the part where IBM did not donate the servers to Groklaw and donated the servers to UNC (ibiblio) before Groklaw existed or was hosted by ibiblio. It's like claiming Bill Clinton is a moral man because he's a Baptist who attends church regularly - enough true fact (he is a Baptist who attends church regularly) to perpetrate a lie (he is a moral man), which is your obvious intention. BTW, you got any proof Pamela Jones is on IBM's payroll? That's in the same thread:
Funny she thought she could keep playing her little game forever, but anyone with a brain already knew she was up in New York working for IBM.

This is way off topic, but ...
I'm looking for a FREE C++ compiler for Linux (Mandrake 10.1). Anyone have any suggestions? If it's one that has a windows GUI (much like Visual Studio) and easy to install, that would be even better. Remember, I'm a relatively new person to Linux so it's gotta be simple to install.
Thanks.

Okay, very good posting and thanks for alerting me to them. I will have time later to go through them, but, as usual, I'm sure you are right on target with these.

Like when you claimed to be on FR in 1996?? Isn't this kind of a minor thing? It's more false bravado then "lying". Don't we all make questionable claims at times? Doesn't make him a liar if this is the only proof you can offer up.

I'm looking for a FREE C++ compiler for Linux (Mandrake 10.1). gcc is the standard compiler for Linux, and should be included with Mandrake or any other distribution.
To: Golden Eagle
Groklaw does in fact run on servers donated by IBM. That makes you the liar, not me, for arguing against it. Okay, that's one "lie" that seems to be shot down.

Okay, I'll check. In my "google searches" I found something called "g++', but it's not installed.

I did a search on my system for both gcc AND g++ but they didn't come up.

Are you referring to searching your system in Microsoft Windows env. ?
To: softwarecreator
Hi,
If you want to compile C++, C and JAVA programs, there are tar kits available for use with Cygwin.
You can get Cygwin at www[dot]cygwin[dot]com
Please read through the page and click on "Install or update now!" on www[dot]cygwin[dot]com

Hi,
Best thing to do will be to try re-installing the gcc libs.
Thanks,

Like when you claimed to be on FR in 1996?? A mistake I admitted. Find the thread, it was late one weekend night, and the point being made was I had been here longer than idiots like you that call me names in the face of the constant facts I use to shoot down your BS. That is a fact that still remains, whether you like it or not.
To: Salo
Pewter Parrot LOL you still somehow think calling me names instead of facing the facts wins your arguments. In your deluded world it probably does.
To: Golden Eagle
Because I'm always right, unless a typo. Prove otherwise, liar.So where was the typo?
You have proven yourself a lair.
