Ten years ago Green Day was a clever little band with a couple of catchy songs. Today they they're a clever little band of has-beens with a hyperactive manager. Are they really the best there is?

I'm not a Green Day fan by any stretch, but I have to admit their "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" is a very good song.

Of the bands that get played on MTV they are. Except for Audioslave who doesn't show up that often on MTV and really have subpar videos. Green Day's new album is really pretty good despite it being anti-Bush. A good song is a good song in my book.

No, but then the VMA's aren't about rewarding the best music, just the best music videos. Besides Green Day's 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' is a fine song and it was a big hit this year.
