According to "alternative schools" in California, there are fifty-two states, but the flags haven't been modified yet.
One of the states is supposed to be Puerto Rico.
Actually, I've always been in favor of adding the "Baltic States" Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. Choose others as you will. How about Baja?
As I once said in a tag-line, "There may not be room here for all who want to come, but there's room on the flag for more stars."

No, we have 54 states.
Don't you know that?
Canada kicked Quebec out, and gave them to us.
We're in the process of kicking Quebec out as well.
We get our oil from the mole men, whom we have to barter goods with to get our oil.
We also own the land of Nilbog as a graveyard for trolls.

Why not just buy Mexico? Because we don't want it.
You need to take a financial management course, my friend.

Reference "The Baltic States" ...
Indeed, the Brussels-based Center for a New Europe notes that none of the countries that have adopted the flat tax are seriously contemplating any retreat from it. Flat-tax pioneer Estonia is even reducing its rate by two percentage points a year until it drops to 20% in 2007. Since the tax's inception in 1994, Estonia has had an average growth of 5.2% a year, and now also ranks fourth (out of 155 countries) in the Index of Economic Freedom, published by The Wall Street Journal and the Heritage Foundation.
On a trip to flat-tax Slovakia earlier this year, President Bush, extolled those who are using the flat tax "to attract capital and create economic vitality."

Dont cry for me, Cindy Sheehan!
The Truth is, I dont believe you!
Youve got your wild days, your bad existence,
He kept his promise. You keep your distance!
Youve got illusions. His answer is lost to you now.
The fortune, and the fame, that you have invited in,
Consume you and feed you somehow,
It seems they are all you desire.
The sacrifice, that was your sons life,
Has burned you in your quest for fire.
Dont cry for me, Cindy Sheehan!
The Truth is, I dont believe you!
Enjoy your wild days, your bad existence,
He kept his promise. Give him some distance!
