Winnebagos are great. I know people who work at the main plant just up the road...

When I was a tiny tot we had a neighbor in the trailer park who was constantly talking about and doodling plans for a trailer with an engine. His name was Jim Baker and Winnabago ripped off his ideas. He sued them for millions.
I have always recalled that memory whenever I hear the name Winnabago.

Here's some advice from a former marketing director for an RV firm, who spent more nights in an RV than I would have liked to (I would never buy one - personal choice). I would suggest a Class A (if you can afford one). Since you're planning to live in it full time, a Class C minimotorhome can get pretty crowded, especially if you are not traveling alone. Keep in mind that a motor home gets very few miles to the gallon (a concern with gas prices being what they are).
Don't worry about cable. You can get a dish and still watch Fox News and most of the other "cable channels."
Good luck.
