Child
A child’s eyes,
are as big as their wonder,
deep as their trust,
clear as a perfect soul.
Angels were the model,
for children from His hand,
a gift to cherish with pride,
making your love so whole.
Treasure them more then gold,
more then diamonds and as rare,
remembering they are yours,
only for a short time for you.
They will grow beyond you and leave,
finding their way as best they can,
maybe with your values or others,
