Obviously the brass at top rated FOX NEWS channel know that they have to keep BOTH males and females in their huge, and ever growing audience happy...Bill Hemmer, who induces palpitations in female hearts, debuts Monday at noon as the anchor of FOX NEWS. Hemmer, who bailed out on ratings-challenged CNN, is a smooth, soft-spoken on camera presence.. (Memo to Roger Ailes....please put him in for Shep as soon as he learns how to turn on his computer..)
Both definite upgrades to FNC...
FYI.You have to figure that more changes are in the works...Linda Vester, who hosts the 1 pm audience participation/news show, was quoted in the NY POST last week that she "might NOT" be back hosting a daily program. I'd like to see FNC junk the format..and please, PLEASE, get rid of Mke Jarret..metrosexuals are sooooo over...
Maybe they'll give Hemmer a two hour slot...so who's out..Brigitte Quinn?...Oddly, she's the one FOX on-air personality that Freepers seem to divide down the middle on..as many like her as can't stand her..
But, as always, Laurie "lip-gloss" Dhue dhuz it best for me...

I used to like Shep. Watched him a lot during the Timothy McVey execution. I always enjoyed his ad-lib and sassy personality. Then, came the election. Now, I can't stand him.

IIRC..CNN wanted to resign him..but he just left them..then, a few months later, he signed with FOX..obviously there had been feelers from FOX..but they have to be careful to avoid tampering charges...CNN was grooming him for a bigger on-air presence...
Mrs. Exile and I watch the Fox Report almost every night, and neither of us care if Shep is there or not. I've got to admit that I'll pay more attention when the lovely Laurie Dhue is filling in.
I'm starting to worry about Mrs. Exile though, she seems to have a crush on Neil Cavuto. (Guess that explains why she married me.)
