I just finished painting the fence and gate. It's time to fire up the grill and catch the rest of the race.
61 degrees outside, 72 degrees in TheSunRoom....nice!
*sigh* It's in the 40s here, and rainy.
High tomorrow is supposed to be 35, and they're predicting snow tonight and tomorrow.
Lovely.
But it does make it awfully cozy, being inside with dinner in the crockpot and a good book.
We're supposed to get that rain on Tuesday. In the meantime, I need to water the pansies. And maybe I can get the crocus planted tomorrow. Miss Cat has been basking in the sun.
I was supposed to have rough character outlines done by the end of this weekend. *Sigh* NaNoWriMo hasn't started yet and already I'm behind.
I'm hoping by the time I have a few characters, a plot might come to me.
Guess I could always do an anthology type thing....a little vignette for each character.
I'm thinking of writing another story for my little sister...but I dunno what about. It's harder writing at that level, but on the other hand, I'd have motivation / a sense of urgency...which could mean it'd be easier to finish.
Wish they wouldn't have this thing in a month with a major holiday.
Well, at this point I'm not having any company at Thanksgiving nor am I going anywhere, so for me, it's nice. I can get caught up on school that I will have been neglecting in favor of NaNo.
Grades. Ultimatum. Learner's Permit.

We cleaned out both of those closets without a single roach sighting. Of course, afterwards as I'm taking a rest....
