*sigh* It's stoopid, but I'm still fretting about that left hand turn across traffic that I gotta make to get to this place.
Interview? No sweat. One itty bitty left hand turn? Scary!
Actually considered going up to Drake and going to Timberline and back so I could do a right-hand turn instead...but it's a much, much longer way, and just silly.
I'm getting better, but...
There's a McDonald's on the opposite corner, you might be able to make a left at the light, turn into that, and get out in the right direction, I don't know.
Or turn down on Timberline and use the next light to turn around.
Yeah - that's kindof how I feel about it... I don't remember if it's been 10 years or not.
I supppose. But turning around involves going across traffic, too...though of course it's different with a light.
If there was a turn lane I wouldn't mind so much. I can handle waiting for the right moment. But pulling into the middle of the road...that makes me nervous.

There is no year of the spider on the Chinese calendar.
On the Corin calendar, I expect you have Year of the Spider. To say nothing of Year of the Scorpion, Year of the Fire Ants, and maybe Year of the Giant Facing-Sucking Thing.
Well, we are still shown within the cone of death on this new one, but it looks like going the other way, thankfully.

Apparently, Falls Creek (where I went yesterday) is all ready...beds made up with fresh linens, the kitchen is stocked and volunteers are lined up to deliver meals to the cabins.
Still no evacuees.
The rumor is that no one is willing to leave the Astrodome to come here. It's just a rumor, but it sure is strange. They were supposed to arrive yesterday.

Almost makes me wish I had a deep frier...it'd be much easier that way. On the other hand, the last thing I need is easy access to homemade deep fried foods...
We used to make apple turnovers....baked instead of fried.
I guess you could do the same with any kind of filling.
Probably! But I dunno if they'd be quite as good.
Still, I've rarely met a pie or pastry I didn't like. Not that any of them are very healthy...
