At first I felt sorry for her and thought Prince Charles was a cad. I still think he is a cad but she was just as bad if not worse.

I have mixed emotions about her. On one hand, I think she is a tragic figure. She did not know what she was getting into when she married Prince Charles, and couldn't handle her loveless marriage being in the spotlight. On the other hand, much of her behavior subsequent to her marriage was totally asinine. Diana and the British monarchy would have been much better off if she had married some obscure aristocrat, and Charles had married Camilla in the 1970s. The royal offspring would not have been as photogenic, but that's the only downside I see in this scenario.

......I still think he is a cad but she was just as bad if not worse...... I agree with attributing blame to the both of them: They were BOTH very immature people due their respective pampered upbringings.
