If you are doing sardines, it's gotta be King Oscar sardines, red package, packed in olive oil, on real saltines with all the fat and salt.
Aaaaaamen! I love those things. Used to stock up on them whenever they were on sale. Something comforting about having a nice stack of sardine cans in the cabinet. ;-)
