To: Prime Choice

I liked "Patton" too and though I'm not sure this fits the category, I love "Glory" - a time when men had a real sense of honor and duty, whichever side they fought for! Makes me proud to see our fighting men and women still have a bit of that today!

I second the thumbs-up for Glory. And of course The Patriot defines this category. :-)

The category is "Best Flag Waving, Patriotic Movies." Patton typified a true, flag-waving patriot in my book. He was an unabashed, unapologetic ass-kicker who made his hatred of our enemies as plain as his love for America and freedom. That was what made this nation great.

Now we've been reduced to Milquetoasts who are more concered about offending the Islamofascist enemy than winning the damned war.
