I think it's just possible that your Cards could clinch ( or be very close to it) just before Mets come into StL for a 4 game series in Sept...

While it is within the realm of possibility it would take the Cards winning 12 in a row and the Stro's losing 12 in a row, along with Milwaukee losing 7 during that stretch.

Not likely, but fun to think about.

As I said earlier the Stro's are fading. They are 4-6 in their last 10 and have lost 2 in a row.

The wild card looks more and more like Phillie or Florida.
The Cards can hurt both Florida (3 games starting Monday) and the Stro's (5 games left).
I'm betting on Phillie.
