It's hard to believe that it's starting up again in a couple of weeks. The only surprise, and it's hardly worth mentioning, is that some folks think Texas surpassed USC during the offseason.

That can only be explained by regional loyalty since Texas lost more talent and didn't have nearly as good a recruiting class.

USC won't be on top forever, and they may even slip up early this year, but for right now they look like they're in a class by themselves.
