Hmm...Where is PETA's stand on this?
and while they're at it (the squirrel extermination), they, the exterminators, should consider a visit to Alaska and a few other states to help solve the overpopulated threatening animal problems.
They should just hire my Chow...she loves to chase squirrels, and she'll kill 'em when she catches them.
SLO school districts... some of the most corrupt, over rated schools in the nation..
They actually atribut their success to their teachers and mostly the administration. No mention of parents...
I originally posted this on the first appearance of this article on this site. But, just for fun...
It's amazing that I made the FreeRepublic on this article...
I'm the guy mentioned in the article (Ashley Lightfoot) and I'm dumbfounded at the breadth of coverage this has received. As the Director of Ops for our school district and a prior Marine Officer, I have been quoted in numerous articles over the years. Most of which have involved critical issues such as bond measures, school facilities, transportation and fuel problems, etc. Yet this article (that almost didn't make it to print because it was such a 'non-story' once the paper found out the facts) gets national coverage.
Amazing.
And yes, all of my friends have had a blast with the Caddy Shack parallel. So much so that they opened one of the Board meetings with an excerpt from the final segment of Caddy Shack. No one laughed harder than me.
