There's a good reason why children know to fear clowns

a gross misdemeanor,I though that's what Burning Man aspired to. I am impressed, though. Being able to pick out one clown from the crowd is some large feat.

Graham and Hinkamp turned the information over to law enforcement, and Goodman was arrested.
Goodman paid $21,000 restitution and was placed on probation for three years, Shirley said. He also was barred from Burning Man, prohibited from entering bars or casinos and must submit to drug and alcohol testing.
Wow, these guys are seriously counterculture, man. Better watch out -- these crazy anarchist kids are using the legal system and everything. That's out of control, man. Seriesly.

JERRY: Yeah, well, y'know what? If I gotta go, and spend time with this girl, then you're coming with me, Dr. Cyclops!
KRAMER: No, no, no, I don't wanna go to the circus, Jerry.
JERRY: Yeah, well you're going.
KRAMER: Yeah, but I'm afraid of clowns!

I'm with Kramer on this one. Two things in this that really
freak me out; clowns and Sam, the World's Ugliest Dog.

Thanks Martin (#8). I'm sure to have nightmares tonight.

Check out this site. And, notice the T shirts he has for sale. http://www.ihateclowns.com/
My message is simple:
There are people in this world who dress up and act like clowns; I don't like these people. I am not clownophobic (or to be politically /scientifically correct, coulrophobic). I do not fear clowns. Really. I don't. They are just not nice people. They scare little kids, they cause neurosis in some adults, they have big floppy feet, they try to fit too many of their kind in a car, I could go on and on.
