This one still makes me laugh. What good sport this kitty is. Looks alot like Motley cat.
What's so bizarre is that it actually works! Cats are so laid back that they really do allow you to layer things on them. Last night I was able to put several light boxes on my kitty during his post, post dinner nap. No reaction.
Enough to give me nightmares.
Check out this thread from last week. Post #16, #27
Hey MG, my apologies . . . I thought the lady owner would soften the dog's picture some but I guess not. Just count kitties before you fall asleep . . . you'll be fine. ;^)
Blenko is so cuttttttttttttte! I just want to hug him!
What a precious kindle of flat faced, blue eyed kittens; radu!
That have grown into beautiful cats.
Samantha must have been a heart breaker. But she's still with you in spirit.
Jack.
Big news! The kittens have discovered the downstairs "big kitty" litter boxes. They both used them this morning instead of the temporary upstairs in their play pen.
Unfortunately they also discovered that the moss in my houseplants makes an excellent soccer ball when pulled out of the plant and batted on a hardwood floor.
Doesn't take much to excite me, does it? :-)
Viking Kitty Sergeant Sam Katt got a new kitty bed.
Soon they will turn your house into "track and field". Mostly jumping, sprinting, and shot-put. My cat isn't too fond of "water sports". ROFLOL.
That is the good thing about one thread per week. It is still here if you miss it on Monday.
I left the shower door open a little bit this morning and both kittens went in to explore... oh, the temptation to turn the water on was overwhelming!!!
I restrained myself. I don't want them to fear bath time. :-)
I plan on taking LOTS more pictures this week.
Sandy keep the stories coming. I really miss having kittens around the house. Husband threatened to leave if I bring home anymore. My daughter just moved home from college with her 2 cats so we are maxed out. :)
It's been fourteen years since I've had kittens in the house, and then it was just one.
Watching these two knuckleheads play together is amazing... my husband is threatening to wax the hardwood floor just to watch them go spinning when they chase each other. Idle threat, of course. He likes the little beasts!
Even more amazing is that Tomas, my 22 pound orange tabby, allowed them near his food bowl this morning and didn't even hiss.
Thank you for the ping!
Hi radu! Thank you for the ping!
Reminds me of a bumper sticker.
"My Husband Said: Me or The Cat. I Sure Miss My Husband".
LITTLE Blenko? Hardly! LOL! That's a big kitty.
Gorgeous, too, and looks sooooooo soft!
I have to admit, it was hard posting the pix of Sammi. That's the first time I've looked at a pic of her since she died.......the pain's still pretty fresh. She was a real sweetie.
Ozzy was the runt of the litter and was abandoned at birth by his momma because he couldn't suckle. He could swallow just fine and I dribbled formula into his mouth the first 3 days. Then he started sucking on the dropper and I knew he'd make it from there.
He was only 4 years old in the pic I posted but honestly looks just the same now at 9. He's always been hell-on-wheels and that attitude is why he survived, I believe.
I still have trouble believing that was 9 years ago. Seems like only yesterday when I first held that tiny "miracle baby" in my hand.
A belated Happy Birthday to your Elliott!
